ArtexArte - Fundación Alfonso y Luz Castillo in partnership with Galerie Younique offer a large retrospective dedicated to Georges Rousse. For the first time, the French photographer will exhibit in Buenos Aires celebrating the Bicentennial of Photography.

Curated by the architect Marisa Sanabria Sequeiros, the exhibition "El espacio infinito" revolves around four recurring themes that cross both the literature of Jorge Luis Borges and the photographic work of the French artist Georges Rousse: impossible objects, mirrors, multiplicity and infinity present in almost all Borgesian writing. These links reveal an unexpected dialogue: without having tried to illustrate Borges, Rousse constructs, through more than forty years of photography, a visual response to the same enigmas that haunted the writer.

The retrospective will take place on the 3 floors of the foundation, with 30 photographs alternating large and medium format, wallpapers, video and an ephemeral installation made for the exhibition.
