Galerie Younique and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) Lima organize, for the first time in Peru, an anthological exhibition of the artist Georges Rousse. On this occasion, the internationally renowned French visual artist will bring together a selection of works created in abandoned places that he has transformed, from the first pieces of the 1980s to the present day. The exhibition will take place in the largest space of the museum, for a duration of more than 4 months between May and October and will include about twenty photographs of format three meters by four, in order to be able to project themselves into the image, as well as a temporary installation carried out in a hut of the Huyacán pueblo, dismantled then rebuilt in the museum. A film retracing the creation of the installation and a book-catalogue will accompany the event. In addition, the exhibition "Poesía del espacio" on the series "Letters and Words" of the artist, will be held throughout August 2018 at the Alliance Française de Lima. Finally, as part of the art fair Lima Photo from 22 to 26 August 2018, a stand will be dedicated to the artist with rare and rarely shown photographs.
