The game of finance, codes, the Internet and data is a key focus in Caroline Ebin's work.
In this set of works with marker or spray, acrylic planning paints, dynamic graphics and diagrams in colored pencil; Ebin proposes a plastic vision, irreverent and humorous of the financial world. As we enter this unreal world, we are delving into "Big Data": abstract forms, blurred numbers, infinite symbols, printed circuit-count installations and totemic forms. This iconographic and quantum exploration questions the current dominant thinking about power, control and knowledge. How do algorithms condition our everyday thoughts and actions ? Ironically, the religiosity of the financial world and cynical capitalism allows us to decipher its madness, its speculation and its lack of critical sense. Ebin immerses us in the disproportion of the financial market where dream and euphoria coexist with the tragedy of a violent awakening.
