Patrones

Patrones is the first solo exhibition of Carolina Bazo at Galerie Younique. On this occasion, the artist brings together works that explore repetition as a foundational gesture, both plastic and symbolic. The core of the exhibition consists of a series of ceramics designed as geometric patterns, modules that function simultaneously as matrix, fabric and constellation. These motifs, developed from a logic of engraving transposed to volume, condense his interest in ritual repetition and the idea that any form is, at bottom, an expanding memory. This set is put in dialogue with photographs and videos documenting his performances, as well as with a performative wardrobe, direct extension of his research. Patrones then becomes a sensitive field : a place where memory, matter and rhythm are woven together in a common pulse.
