The Galerie Younique and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) in Lima are organizing, for the first time in Peru, a large-scale exhibition of the artist Georges Rousse. On this occasion, the internationally renowned French visual photographer will gather a selection of works made in abandoned places that he has transformed, from the first pieces of the 1980s to the present day. The exhibition will take place in the largest space of the museum, for a duration of more than 4 months between May and October and will include twenty photographs of format three by four meters, in order to be able to project in the image, and an ephemeral installation made in a hut of the pueblo de Huyacán dismantled and rebuilt in the museum. film tracing the realization of the installation and a book-catalogue will accompany the event. In addition, the exhibition «Poesía del espacio» on the series «Lettres et Mots» of the artist, will be held all month of August 2018 at the Alliance Française of Lima. Finally, as part of the Lima Photo Art Fair from 22 to 26 August 2018, a stand will be dedicated to the artist with rare and little-shown photographs.
