Under the curatorship of Sergio Valenzuela-Escobedo, the exhibition will be held in the Yuyanapaq space of the Lugar de la Memoria, la Tolerancia y la Inclusión Social Museum (LUM) in Lima, lasting 3 months between February and May; and will take the form of an exhibition-forum-workshop. Revisiting the project from its foundations with archives of the Wawaim Community, several German authors and the photographic duo Lubna and Matton to its first exhibitions in Europe. This exhibition will try to tell the story and struggle Awajún, indigenous community of the Peruvian jungle located next to the Marañón River and the Cenepa River, confronted with the epic shooting of the film "Fitzcarraldo" by the great German filmmaker Werner Herzog in 1979, with the open, free and active participation of the Peruvian public; to the activities of an international forum with several talks deepening the theme Awajún and some workshops of ceramics Awajún with the teaching of a know-how ancestral.
